Was surprise see the NLL beta, ignored than was on download. For my reason detail of track is same than old NLL adapted to scrolling adding some new areas. I thought than should have any different details how was the old version. Happy to prove the new nll version. The oldest was my first contact with SimSig simulations...

jimgos, nll beta downloaded has only general files. On same download page from NLL beta you have link to winter 2003 1.1 for NLL scrolly timetable. Copy link and download it.
If you put sim beta on same folder of other full sims, Program files\SimSig\, then puts SimSig.bpl and nll.exe files there. Create a new NLL folder and move the ssg, wtt and wtr files inside.
Extract timetable winter 2003 1.1 then copy its wtt and wtr files inside new nll folder. Open nll sim and on Timetable tab you shall see both timetables: winter 2003 and winter 2003 1.1.
Not use first timetable winter 2003, how put other players has problem on sim (be for previous nll version), best use v. 1.1. I am playing it without problems...

It has indeed been mentioned before - when you asked this question earlier in this thread! Danny's answer from then still holds true.

I'd only noticed this was available a couple of weeks back, but it's a great sim and one I'd been awaiting with anticipation.

As it's a beta, here's a list of some of the issues I've encountered:

  • NJ18 is a semaphore starter, not an auto signal.

  • Overlap of ACW21 doesn't time out after a train from Willesden No7 has stopped at this signal.

  • Problems after reversing trains at Camden Rd W (Rev) on Primrose Hill line - TT doesn't step on to Camden WJ so funny things happen afterwards.

  • Trains routed from Dalston WJ to Tottenham Hale via Stratford HL P12 call in wrong route at Lea Jn.

  • Problems reversing trains routed to Kensal Green RS at HL2101 on up line (wrong route, then claim signal is red when not, confusion with directions from Harlesden line) (issue existed in paged versions).

  • Descriptions of trains off the Cricklewood curve don't propagate through Dudding Hill Jn.

  • Stratford HL interconnector auto signalling doesn't take account trains routed from Channelsea Jn to Stratford HL P12 even when the latter is set in the TT (can be worked around by overriding the auto).

I've also done some work on the Winter 2003 v1.1 scrolly TT, and have submitted a revamped v1.2A of this for the Downloads section. When that's been approved, I'll put a post on the timetables forum with more information.

  • surely this depends on the era that the author of this sim has decided to recreate in the orriginal paged version, all that has happened is that its been put into a scrolley format and been made to work for purpose

  • ACW21 does release its overlap after a specified length of time, (i reckoned it to be 15 seconds after train stopped at the signal)

  • that will be because if a train has not got stratford higher level in its tt, the signaller at forest gaste won't know what to do with him (and its also not the direct route)

Only if your concept of eras includes the future! Neasden Jn mechanical SB is still in use today.

Sorry, to be clear, this error occurs even if the next two items in the train's TT are Channelsea Jn and Stratford HL respectively.

That is true. IIRC, it happens for all trains that are timetabled to go through Channelsea > High Level to Temple Mills.

Problem between old NLL and the new NLL scrolly. Both sims use NLL folder for installation sim.
Can change destination folder for old NLL sim, ex. NLL old and run it normally? Because if changes NLL folder for NLL scrolly version to NLL scrolly folder, then sim doesn't recognize the timetable used. Thanks.
