Overlapping sticky notes 17/01/2012 at 05:11 #27506

This screenshot was taken of Taunton P2 in the Exeter sim where trains arrive from Cogload Junction and change their TD to a new working one before heading off again.

There are three separate sticky notes which overlap slightly, giving the impression of only one. They are "2C75", "New:" and "2B79". I find that doing it this way makes editing a note easier. To clear this message, simply open the first and third in turn, select all text and delete. I now avoid having more than one TD per sticky note.

Hope someone finds this helpful.

Another neat trick I saw on here once:

with careful placement of blank black and orange stickies, you can blank out platform\lines that don't exist

It does now, but it didn't at some point.

In the illustration provided by Kage it is quite acceptable to blank out 2C as the t/t being played is the 83/4 one at around 0630 by 58050, at that time 2C did not exist and was classed as a dock even though it was surrounded by Platform faces and was controlled by a ground frame, not the main Panel.
