Would be good to have the Lancaster area, along with the Morecambe & Heysham line on as well, with the Lancaster - Morecambe shuttle and the freight turn around as well to access Heysham area. Carnforth area being included will also be good in this sim with trains from Barrow and Leeds coming in from Carnforth Station

Preston PSB covers Lancaster, Carnforth, Bare Lane, Morecambe and the Heysham Branch.

If anything when 'Preston PSB' does if or not comes out it shall be apart of the sim,

Preston PSB covers a large part of area.

As I mentioned just above Preston PSB covers a wide ares.

So From Wigan boarder (Warrington PSB) to Carlisle boarder (Carlisle PSB)
Preston covers Fylde Lines from boarder off Salwick SB, Ormskirk Branch to 1st Signal Box.
It also covers the East Lancs lines from Preston to Blackburn through to Colne, Darwen to Man Piccadilly boarder as well as the lines towards Hebden Bridge and Todmorden.

I don't know what the plans are for that area, but I'd imagine the Ormskirk branch would all end up on a Preston simulation. It is only one signalbox after all. (If I remember correctly)

Think that is correct there is only been one Box on the Ormskirk Branch.

I have collection of 70 images from this months visit. If any of the developers want them feel free to ask. Only stuff I don't have is the gradient profile but I can assist if Preston is/not to be made.

Ormskirk has two boxes - Midge Hall and Rufford - operating on an electronic token block system
There's the right way, the wrong way and the railway.

It was Rufford I was thinking of. Photo of the panel by our very own AndrewG.

Midge Hall is a curious box. From the opening of Preston PSB to 1983, Farrington Curve- Midge Hall was double track, and conventional TCB, with token working on the single line to Rufford. In 1983, the remainder of the line was singled (the sleepers of the former Up line are still in situ for most of the way), but the method of working was retained. This means that trains from Preston enter the single line at Farrington (under TCB), then stop at Midge Hall to obtain a token to continue along it! This is greatly appreciated by motorists, as the train stops on Midge Hall LC while exchanging the token.

Beyond the passing loop at Rufford (which never actually sees trains crossing each other these days, unless there's a test train or similar taking a trip down the branch), the 'long siding' to Ormskirk is worked by Train Staff.
