Signalling and Telecommunications; generally written "S&T". The people who come out and fix problems in the signalling infrastructure such as failed lamps and track circuits.
Previously known as 'Signalling and Telegraph'. Other (unoffical) phrases are "Sick & Tired Department", "Sugar & Tea Department" and "Sleep and Tea"!
