The options in extreme measures are obviously not available to real life signallers. Happily in the virtual world you can cover up your mistakes (or, rarely, timetable mistakes!)

Remove train - if there is absolutely nothing else you can do with a train, this option can be used to summon a posse of aliens to abduct the train from the tracks completely. You may need to cancel the train description on the main screen if it is left behind.

Adjust length - if you have e.g. put a train into a platform that is too short, you can shorten the train so that it fits. This is cheating.
