TOPIC: installing in windows 7

installing in windows 7 19 Feb 2012 22:17 #1

Hi I have been using simsig on my old computer (xp) but when I try to download to my new computer (windows 7) only the uninstal file is present in the program folder .
Any help would be welcome .

Are you referring to the system files or to downloading a particular Sim?

My recollection when I installed to a new Windows 7 machine recently (replacing a dead XP one) was that there wasn't much to see in the Simsig folder created by installing the system until I downloaded simulations.

Hi if you haven't done so, it may be worthwhile searching the forum for "windows 7". There are some minor changes you will notice such as this one.
