Just seen 142091 on Look North looks a bit worse for wear, hit a landslide between Retford and Gainsborough. It was the 11:27 Lincoln to Sheffield service and by the looks of it all i can say is OH DEAR lol. Hope those that were injured are ok
Are you gonna bark all day little doggy or are you gonna bite?

Train involved was the 11:25 Northern Rail service from Lincoln to Ardwick

I've seen a lot worse. Not at all a nice experience for the people involved but fortunately it seems relatively minor... I don't suppose a 142 is the most robust vehicle in a derailment but the damage looks fairly superficial to me (unless the chassis got bent, but that would need engineers to assess).

No services between Retford and Lincoln today (presume 144009 is still stabled in platform 1 at Lincoln), but the Brigg line services have run, the trains from Cleethorpes working wrong line through Clarborough Tunnel.

It seems a bit strange that they've gone to the trouble of starting single-line working for the three trains a day via Brigg (and the return services), but haven't run a service to/from Lincoln.
