Diving way way back in this thread...

To set a route I have to know their timetables. How am I supposed to know their timetables if there isn't a berth for me to click on and bring up the Show Timetable window?

In this particular situation there are two other details:
  1. From St. Philips Marsh HST TM line B, there is only one place the incoming train can go, so you can interpose the headcode at signal 345 (where the shed road merges on to the down main) and set a route from 635 to 435, all without really knowing where the train is going next.
  2. After you've learned the map, you eventually figure out that 5Axx and 5Cxx headcodes entering at the TMD are ECS moves to Bristol TM, and terminating 1Cxx services at Bristol sometimes become 5Cxx ECS moves back to the TMD.

Point 2 is useful in general -- 1Axx trains leaving Bristol are always to Bath Spa and Thingley Junction, 1Axx trains entering from the tunnel go via Hullavington -- but occasionally you get the pattern wrong and send trains off the wrong way.

Finally, in the particular situation where lots of trains are entering at 00:00 exactly from assorted sidings, I think it's "socially acceptable" to lean on the "pause" button a lot, since you're really getting the past half hour's worth of activity all at once.

I meant defining the day & time, not just the start time. Can this be done?

'Fraid not. SimSig does not use day information. Time is all you have right now. I'll add a week-long TT as a feature request though.
