i am having a problem with 9Z00 coming out of charringtons going to cambridge TC every route i set it gives wrong route set for 9Z00 any help please

Because a class 9 is treated as a passenger service sending it onto a goods line would result in a penalty. When you answer the call from the driver there should be an option to "Accept train onto goods line" or words to that effect. This should solve the problem albeit with a small score penalty.

Gccfc,
You need to set the route from 645 to 659 shunt signals (645 is the exit from Charringtons, whilst 659 is on the goods lines, prior to the TC). If you can not see the shunt signals then press F3, go to the display tab and ensure "display all shunt signals" is ticked..

Ah that's a feature that was not there when I wrote the timetable- I'll need to look into it sometime and see what I can do about it. From memory I used 9 for Class 08 shunters for want of something better.

Ticking the Freight timings box may be the cure- I'll have to check it out.

Yes- ticking freight should fix it- found a table of meanings so if it's not on the WIKI I'll add it sometime.
