In the sim, when a route is set from 167 to 160, the overlap extends across Hounslow Jcn.

However in this image, you can just about see the white dot for the overlap just beneath the button for 160.

I thought this might be a ROL which is missing from the sim, and that the full overlap does indeed extend across Hounslow Jcn, but I can't see a white dot beyond 667 points where you would expect to find one.

It looks like theres a dot between the yellow and blue tracks. (JX and I suspect JW). It also looks like there's an R next to the JZ/JX joint so 160 appears to have an ROL which stops at JZ/JX joint and a full overlap that extends to JX/JW. There's no R next to the JY/HT joint so I'd suspect that 162 overlap only goes as far as that joint and does not extend over Hounslow Junction.

Note that the Southern often didn't use the Warner Exit buttons, instead the route always set with a restricted overlap and the steps up when the forward route was set.

All just my guess

According to a 5 Mile Diagram I have, from 160 to the diamond crossover is about 5 chains with a speed limit of 20 mph and a 1:529 up gradient. So it would be plausible for the overlap to not reach the diamond, assuming that the JY/HT joint is roughly at the fouling point.
