So, As part of timetabling I created the attached timetable to get XML out of the sim to play with in my own tools.
But when checking it through I encountered a few problems with trains terminating reverse and not terminating forward.

In this timetable, trains go 1 stop before becoming a new train.

I encountered this trouble at the following stations:
Clark/Lake (Clockwise)
Adams/Wabash (Anti-Clockwise)
HW Library (Clockwise)

A reverse direction in F2 signalling options resolved most of these, but when the train rounds the top of the loop at the Tower 12 junction (meaning does not enter at Roosevelt) the trains get stuck at Adams/Wabash & HW Library in a perpetual limbo, where the train arrives at the station, terminate reverses and calls for permission to proceed, when told to manually reverse they will re-arrive at the station only to then terminate reverse again.

Given there are no routes settable in the 'wrong' direction on the loop, having trains terminate reverse seems peculiar.
This only seems to occur when doing single trip journeys and not when doing a normal journey.
