Greetings all.

WHile I realise that we have quite a bit of the Three Bridges ASC - Panel 5 (Haywards Heath), Panel 6 (Brighton) & Panel 7 (Horsham) - I can't help thinking it would be good to replace the Horsham & Brighton sims with a larger layout covering the whole of the Three Bridges ASC layout as it was in 2007 before London Bridge joined on. Photos at http://photos.signalling.org/index?/category/1177-2007

Any thoughts on such an idea? It would give us something on the scale (in terms of size) of the excellent West Anglia simulation and would, I think, be a lot of fun. Would also chain to Victoria Central and give quite a good size chain.

There are Croydon and Gatwick sims but they have been in Development Hell for quite a number of years.

Ah. I heard that somewhere else on this forum, I think, but the develoer who had been doing them apparently gave in and hasn't done any developing for a while. I hope someone will resume these one day: sooner the better.

I'm really keen to see something covering Three Bridges - Bognor Regis/Littlehampton or at-least Horsham/Billingshurst boundary to the aforementioned.
The Welsh contingent. Aron, or Ar to mates. Also known as 88E or ThatManCalledAr.

The only thing(s) that’s happened since 2007 is that the area of control of TBASC has increased with the closure of the Arun Valley signalboxes and the area extended onto panels 7a and 7b except Arundel. The closure of Plumpton crossing keeping on to panel 5, Gatwick platform 7 plus signalling and layout mods, Balcombe to Copyhold full bi-directional signallling, Coastway east, increased signalling, Down Main carriage sidings at Brighton, Thameslink Three Bridges Depot vice the civil engineers sidings, east London Line works at West and South Croydon, repositioned points at Selhusrt, signals at Norwood 10car Railway, Thameslink Berthing sidings and signalling alterations at Horsham and last of all, Redhill platform 0 plus layout and signalling mods, but all still controlled from TBASC 10 panels.

I agree it would be shame if the Croydon and Gatwick parts of Three Bridges and also the London Bridge sim that were in development were never finished off and never saw the light of day again.

I know the original developer of the above is no longer active but if it would be great if another developer(s) would be willing to take them over as I know that there is a lot of interest in the sims with the end users on the fourm.

Where did you pick that info up from? That has not happened. Numerous panels have transferred out of London Bridge ASC, but they have transferred to Three Bridges ROC not Three Bridges ASC (see attached picture)

Ah I hadn't realised that there was an ROC at Three Bridges as well as the ASC.

Good map although TBASC panel 7 needs to be split into an A and B ends with the B end controlling Christ’s Hospital inclusive to Arundel exclusive and the A end covering the rest.
