Evening all,

With the impending advent of services between Cambridge and Brighton I wonder what the odds would be that the layouts might, at some point in the future, be revised for the Kings Cross and West Hampstead simulations to facilitate such running? This example, from RTT, gives the route as Finsbury Park - Belle Isle - St. Pancras: although there is an exit from Kings Cross sim onto St. Pancras (I guess that link is now double-track?) there is nothing on WH.

TGN, for their part, say that "the times of every train will change" from 20th May.

That's the connection off the North London Incline, which only leads into the International platforms at St. Pancras - the Canal Tunnels link for Thameslink is a completely separate affair a little further up the line.

Two million people attempt to use Birmingham's magnificent rail network every year, with just over a million of them managing to get further than Smethwick.

I wasn't aware of a new connection until I came across this article:

I was just about to ask about this but happy to see it has been asked already.

I'm hopeful of seeing this introduced but appreciate there was previously a conflict of interest around this sim due to the Cross being an IECC but not sure if the conflict is still relevant or not as it isn't in the wiki page any more?

Some of Cross is an IECC (the Hertford Loop) but I am pretty sure that the KX station part of the panel remains non-IECC. I will see if I can get hold of a photo to double-check and will post it here if I can get permission to do so.

King's Cross PSB is an NX panel. The Hertford Loop part is Westcad, not IECC. Neither have ever been subject to conflicts of interest.
