Running the 1981 TT, after allowing 6A37 to run early and is now standing on the Dn Passr Loop at Newbury Racecourse waiting to run round, 5A47 arrives from Reading to run round then set back into Newbury Pfm.1. No problem I thought, I'll run him round on the Dn Westbury instead. However, when I set the route from R484 GPL (Up Westbury) to R824 (Dn Westbury) to drop 0A47 back onto his train the route calls but the signal doesn't clear. Having done a search before making this post I see there have been issues with R484 sometimes not clearing towards the Dn Passr Loop so I am wondering if my current situation is a) a bug, or b) R484 is not permitted to clear towards R824 if the line up to R824 is occupied? Checking control tables there's definitely something amiss. Mantis 22157. In the meantime provided you and the driver reach a clear understanding for the move being undertaken talk him by the dummy.
