In the model layout, St Pancras International replaces King's Cross Goods at signal K31 and there is a possibility to set a route from there onto the ECML. However, in the timetable editor, I can't timetable anything from St Pancras to Copenhagen Tunnels or Holloway South, although it looks like that should work because I can set a route between signals that way. Is this in error?

The first location in the TT need to only be Holloway South. The entry point is Kings Cross Goods (which is the same as St Pancreas International). This then validates

Huh, not quite what I was expecting... These sims work the way they want to, it seems!

At an entry point (as this is), you don't put the entering location in the schedule- essentially, the entry point and time is the first location, so the first location on the list is the next location the train passes (in this case, Holloway South).

There are exceptions, but they're rare (and the Carlisle sim is just bizare).

As an aside, I note you've seeded the train at signal 31 (meaning it will be in sim at midnight), but you're attempting to time it at St Pancras at 00:46- you should probably be setting the train up to enter at Kings Cross Goods/St Pancras at 00:46, rather than seeding it.

Yeah, I figured that as well. I did however note that a timetable of the kind I was wanting to make has already been done, so I have abandoned this and instead I am devoting my time to making a Peterborough timetable, with all that the outdated station config entails.
