6G02 is querying the route. It's not scheduled to call at Alloa Town, so why is this? This is the second train to query this route. I told the first one to bypass Alloa and keep to the timetable. Was this instruction incorrect?

I'm not sure if this is exactly the same issue, but I suspect it's a bug in the sim.

Mmm... Could well be, not too sure. I'll just continue as before then.

Thanks

If you take Alloa out of the timetable it should work.

Ah ha. A solution. Yes I will do that with all other trains.

Thanks

On 29th December I asked why 6G02 was querying a route that I set at Alloa towards Longannet. It was suggested that if I removed Alloa from the timetable this would overcome the problem. There appears to be an alternative way, as when I ran the next train along the same route and the driver queried it, I had the option to bypass Alloa and keep to the timetable.

The question is, does this method incur a penalty?

Yes as you’ve already set the wrong route.

Alloa should not be in the timetable.
