I'm playing Edge Hill, 2015-04-08 Timetable, and I've had a couple of 6EXX (6E36 and 6E05) trains which are timetabled as Tuebrook Sdgs - Drax but their routes have been towards Strand whereas their routes should be towards Huyton and onto Warrington, but there is no forward service on Huyton and Warrington to reflect this either.

Strand Road is the route to Liverpool Dock and there is no another route towards Drax from there.

Try running the timetable longer before you start making incorrect assumptions

A casual glance at 6E05 shows it going to from tuebrook to bootle, then to wrapping and finally onwards to weaver junction. Its spread over multiple schedules but there's nothing wrong. Its just a very long timetable.

I've seen there's 3 sections of the train. I've also seen there are no rules for any of them so they appear when they want. Had 6E36 come out of Tuebrook 1h47 late but the section from Wapping then gave on 5mins later.

My question was because it does not see like normal practice according to TRUST.

This is how the trains where timed back in 2015, I've just checked in the database we use.

If you run "TRJC 0F37 13" you'll see these days the schedule has been split between Tuebrook and the Biomass terminal.

"Passengers for New Lane, should be seated in the rear coach of the train " - Opinions are my own and not those of my employer

In fairness to John, you didn't mention any of this in your initial report, you just stated they ran to Bootle with no onward working to Huyton rather than saying you could see they then run via Weaver junction rather than Huyton which seems unusual.

I never post messages to offend, No.1 but also No.2, I did say they should IMHO be sent towards Huyton, but I mentioned Huyton and Warrington Sims because there isn't a forward service on these Sims either.
It was a query, because to my signalling brain the train cannot complete it journey via Strand Road.

I think the confusion over where the train should go has arisen from Guts looking up the 2021 version of 6E36 which does appear to be booked via the Olive Mount Curve and Huyton, vs the version in the 2015 timetable which was booked via Runcorn.

even though you've confirmed you could already see the return working from Strand road to Wapping, and the onward working towards weaver.

As I said before, my brain says that it should travel via it's most direct route which would be via Hutyton. For the train to travel via Strand Road, doesn't make sense to me unless there is a T3 Possession blocking that route or for operational reasons like dropping off an engine at Strand Road.
In my experience, FOC's don't make or plan wasted journeys that cost them drivers hours and fuel.

headshot has already explained it's the literal difference between 2015 and 2021.

I'm going to look at the engine, but these type of moves make sense, in terms of driver refreshing and also a move to drop off an engine or two.

Biomass is loaded for Drax at Liverpool Docks so could it be that they are empty to the docks and then loaded from?
