Hi Everybody.
Joined this month but had a long standing interest in this simulation and downloaded a version of it years ago. I am 56 years old and have lived in Swindon all my life and being a train fan, I often watch the area on Traksy on my phone, wondering why did you route that slow freight infront of the express and now hold it up, Ha.

If you are new to SimSig it might be better to start with one of the smaller simulations. Perhaps a look at this page of the Wiki might cast some light on the subject.

You should also be able to run any of the payware sims in Demo mode for a few minutes before splashing out on a licence so that you can see whether your skills have developed sufficiently to handle the sim.

I agree with Postal. York is a cracker but busy..Lots of smaller ones to hone your skills on.. If you want a small but Busy on Leeds North West is really good. Huddersfield is also busy.

Hi! I'm new to the forums here, been playing the free sims for a while now, particularly like the Carlisle sim but they're all great! I'm looking forward to trying out the payware sims properly too, I've played a couple of the demos and was really impressed!

Hello, I'm new to this and I have not fully understood how it works (because of my skills in English and the difference from my country's signaling system) but it looks very fun! I was looking for a signaling game like this for a long time, and I'm quite glad to meet this game... I will enjoy this. Thanks to the developers!!

Hello everyone! I've been messing around with SimSig for a while now, but only recently signed up and logged on to the system, as the documentation and previous forum posts managed to solve all my problems.
I found SimSig by simply searching "signalling simulator", since I was interested in how signalling works and wanted to see if I could do it. Turns out there is a simulator, and a very good one at that!
My first sim was derby (I think it was anyway, it might have been Exeter but I can't remember) as I have travelled the area somewhat frequently. I then branched out to some more complex simulations such as kings cross, before finding the (now removed I believe?) Trent sim. That sim was by far my favourite, it's unfortunate that it can't be developed anymore (due to CoI right?).

Welcome. It was a very old sim, incompatible with the current Loader system, and its developer no longer does any SimSig work.
