Hello from Berlin,

everything was ok for a long time with all simulations and I used much times Simsig. But some days now, I have the message from loader (it was version V5.16.1) log in "Could not communicate with server" and it is not possible to continue. A member told me: "Open cmd.exe and enter "ipconfig /flushdns". It will empty the DNS resolver cache. Then restart the loader." I did and also a restart computer after this. It was no solution, mistake continue. Then I installed the simsing software new V5.6, this also not help. Have anyone an idea what's the problem? I use win 7 professional, 32 Bit...

I wonder if you have SSL and TSL enabled fully? Windows 7 is no longer supported by Microsoft, but you might find this guide helps?

Hello headshot119,

thanks for help and you're right all SSL and TSL was enabled. I changed one from SSL to disable, how to see in the PDF. Unfortunately nothing change also after newstart, no communication to server SimSig. Is there another idea what I can try to fix this problem?

That sounds wrong.. the latest SimSig version is V5.16.1

The download on the website is not the latest version, you can get the latest version by running the updater.

You could try running the updater using the Check for Updates button but I guess it can't connect to the server either.

Hello, thank you for last 2 answers and today I tried to update the old version 4 and this works, connection to server is ok. Then I installed the new version 5 again and the connection not work/ no update and game possible. What is here wrong now, 3 weeks before all worked and also all other online on computer works fine? Have anyone a other idea what I can do at next?

Out of curiosity, if you try using Internet Explorer to access SimSig.co.uk, does that fail, too? And if yes, with what error message?

Given that SimSig.co.uk is using Let's Encrypt for its SSL certificate, my suspicion would be that this might be due to the old Let's Encrypt certificate root expiring on 30 September 2021, and older Windows versions not having the new root certificate in their certificate store. (If you're using a not-very-old Firefox for browsing you wouldn't have noticed anything because Firefox uses its own certificate store)

Can you try following the steps given here and see if that helps in any way?

Im having same problem on win7. After installing certificate from the link above, chrome is loading page without any problems (just like firefox). But still, loader "cloud not communicate with server".

UPD: Its just start working.
