Hello!

Tried to search the forum and couldn't find anything related to this, so I might be the first on this one?

According to the manual page for LTS, the length for the bay platform at Upminster is 143 metres, and according to present-day sectional appendix this also seems correct. However in the sim, I am trying to fit a 123 metre train into the platform. It extends into the "TEBB" track section behind UR851, obviously preventing a route out of 1A. I have attempted to use a near-end stopping position on the arriving train, which causes it to reach the buffer stop, and not "arrive" at the station. So perhaps it seems the buffer stop is not placed far enough down the platform?

Is there any other information that I have forgotten to take into account? Thanks for your help in advance

Does anything happen when you tell it to "shunt forward" while it is stopped at the buffer stop?

The final track circuit is 100m in the sim.
The signal is unlikely to be set at the far end of that, so maximum train is slightly less.

Sectional appendix (2020) gives 143m for platform 1A, and Quail/Trackmaps shows 7 car
Given what actually runs there, it would only ever be a 4 car at 80m.
An 8 car would not fit even at 143m.

I am trying to run a Class 720 in this case. As far as I know/can find, this could be a possible case in the near future
