I have nearly finished the timetable and I have just started to look into running the timetable and I am currently getting this error message with a seeded train and I cant see why, '--:-- ???sINCORRECTLY DESCRIBED TRAIN AT BEDWYN'. A screen shot is attached. The train is 5K99 as is described on the panel. Any help would be appreciated.

The lengh calculator that you can download for free is a very useful tool. I used it for the Carlisle 2013 timetable and the 2014 North Wales line timetable I am running up/ testing.

You haven't told us 5K99's timetable and there is no 5K99 in the standard TT, but I would guess that from your screenshot, 5K99 originated at Bedwyn siding and, like other trains with similar "K" headcodes, changes to a train such as 2K99 when it reaches Bedwyn as part of its journey back Up to Southcote. So maybe if you interposed "2K99" at Bedwyn you would not see the "incorrectly described" message, i.e., SimSig believes the train to be 2K99. What does it show on the F2 Train List?

There is a train 5K99 in the 2009 TT! More information is required. A copy of the timetable perhaps?

Max, if you look at the screenshot, it says that 5K99 was seeded at SUW64 so your theory of it being from the sidings is invalid.
There could be some sim specific coding here which looks at the headcodes and flags up the errors
Bandiez, i've recreated this error. However seeding this train at SUW63 instead of SUW64 prevents the error message coming up.
Think we need Peters opinion being the current sim developer as he is prob the best person to know what is happening with the ID berth at SUW64
