Perhaps it'll be ready when it's ready....!

It looks like somebody else has now got hold of the code as well, because I've just stumbled across this website:
http://www.comboios.info/tocgame/

It doesn't look quite ready yet (I tried creating a new player but got an error message) and the last activity is from September this year, but maybe it'll actually get going again... :woohoo:

Two million people attempt to use Birmingham's magnificent rail network every year, with just over a million of them managing to get further than Smethwick.

OOOOHHHHH this looks promising!

Testing being done by a certain Peter Bennett? Is that the one and the same PB as here?

Look forward to this being online again! We will have to create a SIMSIG alliance B)

I was heavily involved when Oskari was running it all those years ago.

Excellent. I look forward to its return! How far off do you think it is before release Peter? Or are you not at liberty to share?

No I meant I was involved 10 years ago - or whenever it was. I wrote some of the scenarios (well quite a lot of them actually) using the published instructions and made most of the 1980's rolling stock images - again from published instructions. I took it upon myself to redraft the instruction pages.

However, other than exchange emails with Oskari from time to time I had no official role then or now: and the first I knew of the latest events was yesterday's posting by Jan.

All the pages of names etc. (some I remember quite well and some have been known to this forum) I've seen are as I remember them from that time.

Can't create a new account.
I am a fan of those games. Wondering, do you actually build tracks and level crossings?

Class 150/2 approaching towards Welshpool. Wrong train you got, only 158's are fitted with ERTMS.

Suggest you read the instructions page: are as they were when the game was taken down. I'm sure if you read back through this topic you will find other nuggets of useful information.

Wow, I got into TOC game briefly in September 2010 for a few days, then it crashed and died! Would be nice to see it back.
