I have received 7S43-1 in the loop at Dunbar. This train is scheduled to halt here and I also planning to give preference to 1E09 coming up behind.Unfortunately even after ten minutes the overlap in front of 7S43-1 has not released. One more thing I find odd is that the driver of 7S43-1 does not pull upto the starter. But maybe that is because it has a timetabled halt here.

This bug at the same place has been previously reported here by Mad Mac:

"4) Odd one - 1E02 called in from Dunbar to say that he would be delayed and asked if I wanted to put ED494 back to red. I >accepted the generous offer as 1V41 was scheduled to pass Dunbar before 1E02's estimated departure time. However, the >overlap didn't time out in front of ED494, as 1E02 was still in the station and not sitting on the berth of ED494. Possible >train length issue?"

I think that the reason why the route does not released is connected with the fact that the train has not reached the signal.

Indeed it is, trains that are to be looped at Dunbar should be given a set down time so they can clock in and clock out then draw forward.
