Got to grips with P'boro, but only by using the very useful 'pause' feature in the main menu. I'm now trying Gloucester but I'm unable to find a similar feature. I need to pause to take stock of all trains/movements and its very difficult without pausing. How do you pause this Sim?

Apologies if this post might be in the wrong place!

Pressing 'p' should also work on all sims.

I think that clicking on the time only works on the Scrolly sims, and not the Paged ones.

I use the letter 'P' on the keyboard, which has never failed me so far :-)

Many thanks to all correspondents who answered. Just checked using 'time' button and this has worked just fine. Only just noticed the other replies, so will try the 'P' version later. Now to get those pesky Great Western trains untangled.........

Note I said 'p' not 'P'; uppercase is reserved for hot keys on scrolly.

Strange. Just tested Gloucester myself and pressing 'p' or 'P' (with Caps Lock turned ON) still paused it. I was using Version 2.201.0.0 to be exact - you can check the Version Number by hovering the mouse over the Gloucester.exe icon within Program Files (assuming you're using some incarnation Microsoft Windows) and looking within the hover window that appears.

You may need to make sure that one of the game windows ('Control', 'Messages', 'View' or 'Overview'are actually the currently active window, which may not always be the case if you have perhaps just viewed a timetable for a train.

Can I please ask what Operating System are you using?

Hot Keys only work with Shift not Cap locs.
