It's not on the list that can't be done, but it's also a very big and complicated area and the developers are very busy...

There are at least 10 simulations in development or beta (not yet available for download) at the moment, maybe even more. (I am not part of the team so don't know everything that's happening there) AJP in games Log in to reply |

I think there are some perhaps better simulations than London Victoria on their way to us. I reckon that London Liverpool Street ("LivSt" and Waterloo are already comparable to London Victoria in terms of level of business.That said, note that JamesN said JamesN said: it's also a very big and complicated area meaning that it may not seem so good for some players who may find it too busy/complex for their liking. Victoria is in 2 halves, which are actually different jobs. The "Central" side, controlling the Brighton-side lines (Plat's 9-19 at Vic), and the "Eastern" side, controlling the Chatham-side lines (Plat's 1-8 at Vic). If Victoria was ever developed as a SimSig, I would expect 2 separate sims. As JamesN and UKTrainMan mention above, the simulations would be large (Central = 5 panels, Eastern = 6 panels) and rather complex with very busy panels and some very tight timings between trains. Not for the novice SimSig-er on their own! Log in to reply |

Ahh ok i thought London Victoria controlled all platforms I didn't know they separate sim sigs. soo there any chance It could be done or not ? Unless the developer wants to construct an easy panel sim for Victoria Log in to reply |

Yes it/they could be done (and for all I know it / they could be under development at the moment). However, given the current workload the developers are ploughing through, if it is not on the current agenda then it is unlikely to happen soon. Don't get me wrong though, I'm sure if London Victoria was developed and subsequently released I would certainly play it....or at least try to play it to the best of my abilities. Whilst not wishing to promote others, Sigcent has a Victoria Central simulation if you want to guage how busy it can be.

London Victoria is two separate panels even though they are all house in the same bulding. You have Victoria C and Victoria SE. I can confirm that the R&D team have visited the location with the view to doing a simulation sometime in the distant future when time is available so please be very very patient

Victoria Eastern may not be as busy as first thought. The train frequency is certainly not as high as London Bridge area for example. ARS would simplify matters with basically 4 lines from Swanley Shortlands then diverting into the Catford Loop and the mainline via Beckenham Jcn. Freight movements in a late 80's early 90's timetable would be mainly through inter regional services with Stewarts Lane TMD & Battersea aggregates sidings.
