Drain bug? Sudden "Adverse change of aspect" 27/11/2011 at 09:30 #23743

I played Drain again (...)
That's the updated version that I just downloaded.

I don't know why 5C01 received an adverse change of aspect. I set the route from 30 to 20 before ARS prompt me that the route needs to be set manually (that's 07:30), and as I am doing something else, I suddenly get this message.

I suspect that the driver has read through to signal 20 instead of 30 (or 24A), so when 2B07 leaves Waterloo and cause a change to signal 20, 5C01 thought the signal has changed suddenly to red...

After that, I thought that's all so I set route for 5D01 when prompted.
However, unexpectedly, I suddenly get these messages concerning 5C01:
07:34 5D01 REQUIRES MANUAL ROUTE TO BE SET
07:34 2C02 DEPARTED FROM WATERLOO 1 MIN(S) LATE
07:34 5C01 ROUTED OFF PLANNED PATH AND MADE NON-ARS
...
07:35 5C01 ENTERING AREA OFF PLANNED PATH
And this appears:

Originally, 5C01 is to be transposed to 2C02 (by ARS, isn't it?), as indicated in the next train working on the timetable. But it didn't. Why?

(I don't know anything in detail, as I keep pressing the "F" key...)

Did you have ACI ticked? It is the ACI that changes the TD you see on the screen at the end of the journey. If it's unchecked, then you have to manually interpose when the train's TD changes. You can check whether you have ACI via F3 on the ARS tab.

Nil.

Wosw, really an old post...

I don't think this is related to ACI in any way, because all other trains had the TD transposed automatically. I will check later if I have time.
