A general question. Running Windows Vista, and attempting to extract TT files, I get error message "Access Denied". What am I doing wrong?

What/where are you trying to extract TT files from?
If it's from the website then it may be due to the bandwidth exceedance..

I download a "zip" file, and then attempt to extract it to the appropriate folder and that is when I get the error message.

That's not a SimSig error, it sounds like you havn't got the permissions set correctly on the folder you are copying to. One of our resident IT experts should be able to help you.

Sorry I can't be of further help, but my IT skills are ..... hmm.... limited!

Probably trying to unzip into Program Files or something where you don't have the privileges, either change to an unzipping program that can ask for permission or unzip to the desktop and then copy them over.

Almost certainly a file permissions issue. I'd guess you're logged in on a standard user account rather than an as an administrative user and that restricts what you can do. Easiest fix is to use an admin account when doing any sort of installation - if that's not possible you need to ask someone with such an account to do it for you.
