I have played to 01:00 on the 2006 timetable, but have run into a problem regarding the Caledonian Sleeper.

Firstly, I signal 1B16 from Aberdeen into Platform 11.
When 1B01 arrives, I signal it into Platform 10, then into Platform 11 to join 1B16.
When 1M16-1 is formed, the day coaches are detached at the front.

However, the train list informs me that 5B01, despite having backed onto 1B16, cannot move due to 1M16-1 being in front, despite being in the "Up" direction!

Can anyone shed some light on this problem?

For the record I am playing the old freeware version.

See WIKI page from the manual, which explains the step needed to circumvent the problem.

I can only help one person a day. Today's not your day. Tomorrow doesn't look too good either.
