I've been having trouble routing an up train through Barnetby Down Reception with a single timetable, and thought I'd post it here in case it's not been reported previously. The issue is: I have a train that enters at Holton-le-Moor, waits in Barnetby Reception Sidings for a bit, and heads off towards Brocklesby. The first routing I tried was:
This works until the train has departed from Barnetby Reception, at which point it calls wrong route from BE34. So, I tried:
This caused the train to call wrong route from WJ17 instead! There is an obvious workaround: split the timetable into two parts, changing at Barnetby Reception, so when the train gets to WJ17 it doesn't see Barnetby in its calling points and therefore doesn't complain about being routed into the sidings. This works. However neither of the first two timetables should really have caused any wrong route calls - and arguably the first version should have failed validation. Log in to reply |
