If the train enters then it's validating OK. If the train is passing through the location and the timetable is not stepping up then that suggests it's passing through a TC that's not coded as that location, so the train does not know it has passed. Not sure if this is the same issue as described above, just trains from Acton Wells using the crossover at WWLJ don't step up their timetable - 6L28 an WM626 to WM328 being an example.
