Hi I cannot seem to get trains to arrive via Benbane branch line. I have altered timetable to show service options at 100% but trains don't enter 6E66 for instance

Benbane is effectively a long siding with a coal-loading point at the end. You can't have a train coming out of Benbane unless a train has gone in to form the back working. Similarly you can't send a train in if there is already a train occupying the branch.

In the 00:00 start TT, all of the trains due to enter at Benbane (or Killoch) will only enter if there has previously been a train sent there. Speaking from memory, this is slightly modified in the 04:45 start TT. There is one train which may or may not enter at Benbane not long after the TT start as the inward train arrives at Benbane before 04:45.

You can see the detail if you check the rules in the TT.

The TT reflects real life in the sense that many of the coal paths are Q paths (runs as required) so there are 10% or 20% chances of the trains running set into the TT. That means that on some runs of the TT you can go the whole 24 hours with no train in or out of Benbane and Killoch.

As John says, if the [OCC]upied indicator does not show the branch is occupied then logically there can be no train to come out of the branch.
