Work on an updated South Humberside is on-going and the biomass was a location that I added just recently in fact so I know exactly where it is. It's within the HIT (Humber International Terminal).

What Biomass Loop?

The Biomass Loading Point is part of the HIT complex (Humber International Terminal).

It has been built on the original run round line for the 2 coal loading bunkers, meaning that when there are 3 trains in, there's nowhere to run round the locos! Therefore, a new run round line is to be built, as capacity is a little strained!

Since November, we've been on 190 imported coal trains per week to power stations, plus 5 Biomass trains per day (supposed to be increasing to 12 per day once the infrastructure and rolling stock are available).

Plus re-signalling of Appleby through to Ulceby and Cleethorpes next Christmas, and Brigg line during this year - South Humberside as a sim will nearly all be obsolete soon! (Gainsborough to Lincoln has already been resignalled).

One thing to note with a 2015 TT - trains may lose time between Gainsborough and Stow Park/Lincoln due to the resignalling and resultant increase in speed limits which the sim does not account for.

God bless, Daniel Wilson

Hmm - just like many of the locations supposed names which bear next to no resemblance of where they are at Immingham!

Just be aware that there are only 5 coal loading points at Immingham, referred to by various names:

HIT - also known as the Import Terminal by Freightliner
Hargreaves (or CPL) - known as ESL by Freightliner, and Reception Road 1 by GBRf
NCB (former Coal Export Terminal) - simply known as Dock CT by Freightliner
Loading Line 7 - known as Reception Road 7, because it basically is No. 7 Road in Immingham Reception!

In theory, that lot could handle 48 coal trains per day - half in the HIT, half the between the others. In reality, that doesn't happen. The HIT usually breaks down at the first sign of a busy spell!

Bulk Terminal - the Tata loading pad for coal (and iron ore) trains to Scunthorpe Steelworks (Santon for the ores).

Hope that helps. Also, in the original release of the sim - some locations are in the wrong place (already fixed in progression towards a re-release sometime)...

God bless, Daniel Wilson
