I am currently using the timetable supplied with the simulation and just come across a possible bug with the ambergate token. I had 2a10 sat at ambergate with the route set throughtout to matlock but the driver never requested the release of the token and just kept ringing up stating he was waiting for the signal. I tryed taking the route away and then resetting it but the driver never requested the token. The only way to get him on the move was to pass the signal at danger. May be worth checking what location the train thought it was at.

Try the following order of actions: 1. Set the route for the train from Ambergate Jn to the station. 2. Wait until the driver requests the token, then click to the Release button 3. Set the route from the station towards Matlock. I do everything in this order and it works OK for me. However, I didn't try any other methods...

Everything seemed correct and i'd followed the same procedure as previous trains. No request for the release from the train. I talked him past. At xx:36 i got the usual phone call asking permission to leave Matlock. I gave permission and everything worked normally. An hour later and the same branch train has just asked for the release as normal. Log in to reply |
