Leamington Spa has been released, it is available to purchase in the shop for £10.

It can also be purchased in a bundle deal with Shrewsbury for £20. Saving £5.

Hi - just checking - unless I'm being really dim, there's no Marylebone timetable that you know of out there yet that is compatible with Leamington Spa and Saltley for a chain throughout?

Thanks,
Nick

There are plans for a Marylebone timetable to chain with Leamington - however lack of Chiltern DMU diagrams are holding me back at the moment. Once again if anyone can supply these before the timetable changeover - please drop me a pm - thanks

Wouldn't a Leamington timetable that Chains with the existing Marylebone Timetable be a Simpler fix?

Could be Joe if I had the relevant CIF file, but a Marylebone to the current Leamington fits in with the 'bigger picture'

Marylebone needs a refresh to chain with Leamington Spa anyway at the moment, as far as I can tell.

In the 2006 era it should work, although there is at present no compatible timetable.

Am I just going crazy? The only chaining option in Marylebone is for LUL, and if you try to chain it the other way (ie initiate the connection from Leamington Spa), I get an error about the sims not chaining. This is with no timetable.

If you connect Marylebone into Leamington it works with no errors, just tried it to make sure.

Do you have the right version of Marylebone? Try checking for updates.

I've checked for updates to no avail. How strange. I'll investigate, maybe I missed a new version from the downloads that somehow didn't get put into the update system? I'll have a look. My current version is 2.5.

I'm running Marylebone 2.5 with Loader 4.4.3. I have Leamington Spa 1.0 in 2006 mode, and Marylebone is in 2013 mode. Marylebone lists only "LUL" in the "Connect to external signalbox" menu. What else am I missing?

When I try to chain the other way (ie Leamington Spa initiating the chain), I get:

--:-- The host at 127.0.0.1:50505 has rejected your connection attempt.
--:-- These signalboxes do not chain together

Just been talking to Geoff on Skype and the reason is that you have the latest release version, whereas I have a slightly more up to date version from when we were testing Leamington.

Geoff is currently working on a few updates to Marylebone, so it will not work until this is released.

There is a 2009 TT for Marylebone in the works, however, it's not simple as the layout was drastically different

It's the difficulty with picking one "standardised" date for everywhere; some of the sims are bound to be incompatible whichever date you choose!

Out of interest, how did you come to pick that date, specifically the year? Was the project started in 2009, or is it more complex than that?

Unable to chain to Coventry. I get this message an chaining:-

--:-- Client at 10.0.0.8:51348 has connected
--:-- Coventry chaining arrangements inconsistent
Not receiving CY02/BCY02 LN56/BLN56 CY2/SCY2 CY2R/SCY2R CY1/YCY1 CY186/TLN186 CY187A/TLN187A CY187B/TLN187B CY187C/TLN187C CY187D/TLN187D CY187E/TLN187E CY187F/TLN187F CY187G/TLN187G

I also get about 20 recursive bug error pop-ups like this one:-

Doesn't matter what timetable, what era - they won't chain. Any clues?

Thanks.

You've not got the latest version of Coventry. You'll need to re download it through the website, it is not available through the loader on check for updates.

There is a timetable from a different date in development that will be compatible with Leamington Spa, being produced by Meld.

There isn't any major reason why Oct 2009 wouldn't work on the post-Evergreen 3 layout that is simulated. There may be a few trains affected between West Ruislip and Northolt Junction going down towards Greenford as the crossover moved from South Ruislip back towards Aynho quite a way, with trains having to run wrong-road most of the way from West Ruislip. Other than that there is no significant layout modifications, all that happened were line speed enhancements and a few more signals put up, with more still being replaced by LED heads.

And redesigned Princes Risborough. I have the 2009 TT and have a hell of a lot of work to do to make it fit with the sim involving a lot of additional shunts etc.

Although Princes Risborough was redesigned, all the old track remains, theres basically just an added through road with a few extra routes.

The only place a new conflict was installed was Ruislip.

They lost the connection between the up platform and the Thame Siding too though.

I swear, Your Honour, that I downloaded and re-installed them all when we were directed to in March. I must have missed Coventry? Anyways, done and fixed.

Thanks John & Karl.

If I recall, there was an issue such that Coventry wasn't uploaded properly first time, so it had to be reuploaded shortly after the announcement. So it probably isn't your fault!
