Hello,

6B93 running about 2 hours late, trying to get him into Letchworth CS, and the shed just pumps this empty set 5R58 right out in front of him! 6B93 was committed into the shed when 5R58 appeared (6B93 clear past signal 954 and half into the siding, had to reverse it via the train list).

I've never seen this happen in any other sim, and it's not the first time Letchworth has done it. There is no phonecall required for permission, nor a slot. I was under the impression there was code to prevent this happening, to delay the outbound train until the inbound one has dropped off the sim. Is that correct?

KX version 3.4, loader 4.5.4

As luck (?) would have it, it's just happened at the other entrance as well.

That's 5F02 occupying the track just near the south entrance, with 5R52 having appeared right ahead of it.

This time, the sim actually threw error messages:

I'm guessing the error is 5F02 being 'Stopped at Letchworth CS' per the train list, but not dropping off the sim. The sim did not crash. I have removed 5F02 via the train list and everything seems fine.

I would assume that as there are multiple lines in the CS (ie 'yard' rather than a single siding) a train should be able to enter the yard/exit sim whilst a train is waiting to enter.

Edit: I'd encountered the problem at the up and thought I'd logged it, but apparently not.

Have a look at #9831

"Passengers for New Lane, should be seated in the rear coach of the train " - Opinions are my own and not those of my employer

Thanks Karl, that's part of it although as a client I just seemed to get the mexican rather than an exception.

I got the mexican at the Royston end, and an exception at the Hitchin end. It's followed that theme each time it's happened
