These tend to have a small area of control per workstation.

I was thinking about hosting a Central Scotland session as it doesn't get much of an airing, although it has had a rare outing recently.

Background to the post is if I did host I would probably group workstations to ensure each participant had enough to keep them occupied. For example Larbert Junction to Dunblane might be grouped, along with Carmuirs West to Polmont, Greenhill Junction and Cowlairs 2, with Cowlairs 1 on its own.

Challenge is if you end up with a queue. Do you:

1. Stick with the initial groupings and ask people to wait for a slot.
2. Start to split the groupings to accommodate everybody but at the risk people get bored.

Interested in what people think.

While I've used Central Scotland as an example - potential challenge might also exist in simulations such as Shrewsbury and North Wales Coast.

What I tend to do is fit the boxes around the number of people wanting to join in, and the nature of the timetable. So for Central Scotland I would group the panels in more or less the same way as you suggest, but if more people turn up then I would split them up a bit, especially if we were simulating the Absolute Block fully.
