Compliments of the season to everyone.

I'm putting together a 2017 timetable for Tyneside. I'm confused by the Wylam entry point on the Carlisle line as this seems to be before Wylam station. Validation adds a Wylam passing time for trains that don't stop there. Is the entry point on the Up Carlisle actually at Prudhoe?

Carlisle doesn't have an entry point at Wylam. Suspect this should come under one of the Newcastle sims.

I can understand Chris' confusion. There is indeed a place called Wylam which is on the "Hadrian's Wall" line between Newcastle and Carlisle. The entry point Chris refers to is, however, on Tyneside IECC simulation and is referred to on there as "Wylam (Up Carlisle".

You are quite right. Please could you move this to the Tyneside section of the forum.

I've raised this on the bug board as 16393, I think that the entry point is actually at Prudhoe (that's currently a mandatory timing point, Wylam isn't). I'd suggest using the Prudhoe times to enter trains and see if they are keeping time.

Sounds about right. However I just looked at the list of destinations on the Tyneside IECC sim and it includes both Wylam and Prudhoe and will validate a timetable even if both places are used.

Neither Wylam nor Prudhoe are shown on the sim diagram but trains in the down direction leave the sim at Prudhoe, having passed / stopped at Wylam.
