Hello everyone. I have a problem which I have tried to resolve, but without success. Perhaps those with more experience would be able to help? I'm running the 15th October 2009 TT v1.0 (0445 start) At the start of the sim there is a warning that there might be compatibility issues, so I hope that this isn't one of them! The attached 'save' shows the driver of 2N17 reporting that 'points are set wrong' and the train list confirms that indeed the 'points are set against train' I initially thought that this was because 2N24 was approaching on the single track section and obviously needed to clear this and the points. Now, it appears that 2N24 is being held at signal HW13 because 2N26 has not departed Frimley and is not timetabled to do so until approximately 10.10. I altered the timetable for 2N26 in order to get it to depart for Camberley earlier and then this allowed 2N24 to progress to Frimley thus clearing the single track section. However, after inspection, the driver still reported that 'the points are set wrong' and I can't see a way of doing anything about this. As a last resort, I deleted 2N17, but surely there must be a better solution? Waiting in anticipation.... Bugsy Post has attachments. Log in to view them. 2N26 has a TT error- it's scheduled to enter at 09:04, it should be 10:04. That's what's holding it up at Frimley. Did you authorise 2N17 to pass a signal at danger at any point? "Don't stress/ relax/ let life roll off your backs./ Except for death and paying taxes/ everything in life.../ is only for now." (Avenue Q) Log in to reply |

As I previously stated, moving 2N26 wasn't a problem anyway and I got 2N24 into Frimley. Having done this 2N17 was still faced with the same problem. I'm going to reload an earlier save, change the TT of 2N26 and see if I'm faced with the same problem with 2N17. I'll let you know what happens. [Did you authorise 2N17 to pass a signal at danger at any point?] I have to admit that I'm guilty I'm afraid  Will have to be more careful in future.Thanks for your help and explanations Steamer. It seems the issue is due to passing an external signal at danger, messing up the automatic route setting off-screen at Ash Vale.
