Something that was in the old version and still in the new version too.

DY79 and DY81 at Wychnor are both are approach locked (240 seconds - probably due to the higher line speed now) even when there is no train approaching, which seems odd.

Since I was there there was a re-signalling in connection with the building of Central Rivers so I don't know if this is actually as it is now, but, in any event, I can't see the logic behind it.

Is this correct as it stands or maybe something that needs attention?

This is correct as per the RRI control tables, but thanks for the question.

Thanks to you Howard for sorting out the issues which prevented a BR era timetable being created for this sim. I can now make a start on a Derby 1987 timetable. Iset up a couple of test trains last night regarding issues at Coalville & they all worked OK. Brilliant job.

Howard, I don't know if this is a Derby sim issue or a general problem.

Playing today, I get a signal light go out at DY551 at Duffield which, of course puts DY555 at Belper back which causes a COA at DY559 on the up loop at Broadholme which was off for 6D80.

I see from the Performance Analysis this has gone down as a cancelled route in front of a train which goes down to me.

Is this by design just a quirk of the system?

I believe this is a quirk of the core code and 'scoring', this has not been implement by myself as I'm not the evil!

Howard,

Thank you very much for that.

I have a somewhat historic association with Derby PSB from 1984 to 1995, which were some of the happiest days of my railway career.

I'm enjoying playing the sim very much and thank you for all of your time in creating it.
