That's how it looks to me. If you look at the first photo in Llangollen's gallery, you can see JP33 between the tracks. The box above the disc is a theatre indicator.

It's not a bug, there is a main aspect route from JP37 - JP33. LUL signalling is somewhat different to the mainline. (When I originally looked at the thread I'd failed to realise I was looking at LUL signalling)
There's a bug and a non-bug.

Yellow at JP37 leading up to a shunt signal at JP33 is not a bug.

Allowing a route to be set from JP40 to JP37/38 when a main route is set from the latter *is* a bug.
