Towards the end of the day, just as trains were starting to be put away in Edge Hill Depot from Liverpool Lime Street, I got a points failure of 245 points at Edge Hill, which is the crossover between the down fast and the depot roads. As a result I can't get up trains into Edge Hill depot from Liverpool Lime Street. However, this shouldn't be such a big problem, because there seems to be a down connection at Wavertree Junction (I am right in thinking it's possible to route trains into Edge Hill Depot from here aren't I?) The problem is, I can't work out how to edit the timetable to get trains to use this connection. Take 5F27 which was the train I attempted to route into the depot when the points failed. It is currently standing at Edge Hill station (signal LE44) and the timetbale reads: Edge Hill 22/47 Edge Hill Signal Box 22/48 Edge Hill HS/ICD 22:53 If I try and put in the Wavertree Jn (LE101) location after Edge Hill Signal Box, the timetable does not validate as it says there is no path between Edge Hill Signal Box and Wavertree Jn (LE101). So I tried experimenting with Edge Hill Signal Box to Wavertree Jn to Wavertree Jn (LE101), but then it says there is no path between Wavertree Jn and Wavertree Jn (LE101). I tried it without Wavertree Jn (LE101) at all, but then the train stops at LE8 and then carries on its merry way without reversing at LE101. If I try the invalid timetable, the train stops at LE101, but does not reverse. Does anybody know how the timetable should be written (assuming it can be) so that a train will reverse at LE101 and head back into Edge Hill Depot? Ta. Post has attachments. Log in to view them. DOH!!! It appears I missed the paths to Wavertree 101 signal out completely! I will add them in due course and re-release
