Hi,

I'm just short of 0700 on the 18/12/2012 timetable for Marylebone, and I've scored 30 out of 30 bonus points thus far.

I'd love to know how I've done that! Could someone advise?

Thanks,
Dave

One or more trains have the 'Pullman/Bonus scoring train' box ticked, and you've kept them on time.

Thanks Steamer; I'm familiar with the system - was hoping the TT writer (if they're still around) could say which ones (and why - I haven't dealt with anything strikingly "special" thus far) without having to manually go through.

It's not one I'm especially familiar with, because it's not one of mine, but I can't locate any trains on the v6.1 that have the bonus tick box selected.

The only train(s) that would ever fit the bill would be the former WSMR 1P01, which is pre-2012, and the 0609 from Kidderminster. The latter is not ticked anyway.

Which version of the timetable are you using?

1P01 is likely to be ticked on any timetable produced by Karl (headshot119) or any of his team as it was always his train of choice.

Not going to be the case on this timetable but the Holyhead to Cardiff and return "WAG" loco hauled service is usually ticked too.

For reasons I can't fathom (I recently used the updater through several attempts to ensure I had everything up to date) - I'm using v6.0.

In that, 0524 Aylesbury - Aylesbury Vale Parkway (CR 2/165) running as 5C01 has the Pullman bonus ticked.

Presumably, 3x timing points = 3x sets of 10 bonus points.

I could confidently say that in real-life operations a timetabled empty from AYS-AVP is not one that we'd prioritise over any other service!

Good that you've identified it, but probably a mistake that it's ticked in the first place.

Cheers, seems that way.

I did wonder if it was a test of ones ability to get a conflicting bin train through the section, but no bins run at that time.

Have put it down to error and moved on!
