Hi all,

I'm very sorry to have to bring this vexed subject up again since I was looking forward to the new loader having rectified the various issues concerning crew change.

My first tests with the new loader.....

3A01 0017/00c19 at Peterborough

Crew available 0019 : train arrives 0017 : F2 says Crew Change exp 0017 : TRTS at 0019 and leaves 20 seconds later, all is well but messages screen reports 2 mins late arrival, which is wasn't.

Crew available 0019 : train arrives 0027:26 TRTS is immediate and leaves at 0028:11 only 45 seconds standing, not enough for a crew change.

So I add 2 mins into the Train Type Crew Change box

Crew available 0017, train arrives 0017, no TRTS, signal cleared manually but train doesn't move
Crew available 0017, train arrives 0030 - no TRTS, signal cleared manually but train doesn't move,
F2 Trains list says says 3A01 Crew Change exp 0017

The only thing that will move it is abandoning the timetable.

I've reverted to what I was doing before and inserting a 2 min location dwell which
holds the train for 2 mins, a realistic figure for crew relief whether its late or not.

Again, I know this a very sore subject but I'm sorry to say it doesn't look right to me - or am I missing something?

The proposed changes to crew changes have not yet been implemented. It's a big job that needs a concerted effort. You may have seen the 4.6.5 release already had a large number of changes, i.improvements, new features, and corrections.

Thank you - clearly I was labouring under a misapprehension. I read the change list and saw 0017146, Crew Change Dwell Time resolved and believed that was the problem cleared.

Sorry for making a fuss then, but to what problem did 0017146 refer?

Ah, that was an issue with the dwell time for the crew change once it starts. I don't recall the specific issue but it was probably an obvious, simple, and easily curable bug.
