I set a path from NH2 (Loco Siding) through Miles Platting, which proved green. When I then collared the exit signal, the train wouldn't move and was "waiting at signal Newton Heath Loco Siding".

Even more weirdly, with that same NH2 signal collared, a train exiting NH1 on warning aspect said it was "waiting at signal 714". As soon as I uncollared NH2, the train left NH1.

On Newton Heath Loco Sidings, there is a signal located just behind signal 902. The signal, giving the name as Newton Heath Loco Siding will only clear when a correct route has been set from 902.

I suspect that this is the reason for the train not leaving. I will log it for me to look at at a later stage, as collaring the exit signal with a route set isn't something which I considered in writing the sim.

Thanks!

I'd put a collar on due to points not detecting normal and to remind me to key the way out
