Hi,

When I set a route from WSR to Silk Mill E481 the signal E627 doesn't go off, if the onward route is unset or is into Fairwater Yard.

If the route is set to E483 (directly without shunts), E627 will go green as E481 is clear/caution.

However, E481 is a calling-on signal with controlled approach to shunt E623 and thus remains on, subsequently causing E627 to remain on. To get to Fairwater without reversing you have to PSAD.

Is this a sim bug or the way the actual interlocking works (with signaller clearing 627, which you can't do in here)?

Have logged as 0019905.

Ive noticed said route is possible in the earliest era, but appears not to be in anything later

Peter, on your Pre 1985 era and 1986 era, signal E627 is a shunt, which clears as expected. The latter 2 eras, the signal is a main aspect which only clears when signal E481 is off.

Just to confirm as well Peter, I am looking at this on sim version 5,1,1

Isnt that signal two aspect red/green?

That would explain the limited control. I beleive the route towards fairwater shouldnt be available. In earlier eras it was to facilite the trip from taunton cider to fairwater but when it was replaced with a main aspect it only had routes to and from the main lines

I explicitly wrote the restriction in the data so I presume I must have got it from somewhere, where I can't recall. It is being double checked.

Thanks Peter. I should have said I'm using modern (2015) panel. I'm trying to use the route based on the movement at: http://www.realtimetrains.co.uk/train/H31850/2018/03/28/advanced

In 2015 version, 627 is still shown as shunt, not 2-aspect main in multiplayer?
