Had an unusual occurance with 6A60 when it appeared at signal P305 entirely un-announced having obtained the staff without asking permission. The driver rang to say he replacing the staff and I signalled the train off the branch. As it approached Plymouth the driver of 6A60 rang from Ernsettle siding asking for the staff.

Sounds like a duplication...

Have you got a save file? Save skipping through to the time that it happened.

Needs to be a save from before the train enters and from which the event can be consistently reproduced.

Which timetable were you using, and at what start time?

I think I know what happened, and am assuming you are playing the 2009 timetable.

6A60 has an inbuilt timetable clash, which based upon the precedents set by Noel in the past would have been included even though its timetable is impossible.

When it enters at Ernesettle, 2P84 is on the branch, so that was probably the train that returned the staff first, not 6A60, whose driver will phone up immediately when the passenger train has cleared.

I have just run the 0445 start timetable until 6A60 clears St Budeaux and found that it all works as intended, the exception being the unavoidable delay to 6A60 as it must wait for the single line before it can depart Ernesettle.

I love that 6A60 appears whilst 2P84 is on the branch - enjoyable having the driver come down for the token, then be told "Nuh wait"

Probably my favourite working on that TT.
