Possible sim / TT bug 15/08/2018 at 09:53 #111059

Morning,

During the London Bridge session on Tuesday night which belly buster was hsoting I was on Panel 5 (Lewisham) and had a train - 2M52 - sent on the FL when I think it should have been sent SL. Either way I had to get it into Platform 4.

Once there was a gap I sent 2M52 from Signal 233 at Tanners Hill Junction via. Lewisham Vale Jcn to Signal 253 and sent it across to Platform 4 over the crossover. However the timetable then failed to step-up as can be seen in the attached screenshot. I am unsure if this is a sim bug or something else but thought I would post it in case.

Cheers,
Dave

Do you know the routing of 2M52 around New Cross (or even earlier)?

Booked Route from TT is

LB High 4
Spa Rd 4

Looks like the crossover at North Kent was missed on Panel 3

Possibly misrouted at 189 or 153, I think.

If the train wasn't booked to call at NX, diverting down the fast via Tanners Hill Jn instead of 4 down to 1 down at Spa Road or North Kent East Jn is a valid move used often at LBASC when the slow lines were backing up/slow going and a clear run was available via Down Fast and Tanners Hill Jn into Lewisham. And vice versa, Fast lines backing up/slow going, trains could be diverted down the slow lines to Lewisham or Parks Bridge Jn from North Kent East Jn. So not a mis-route more a diversionary route.
