Queenstown grey platform route 04/09/2018 at 10:08 #111841

I have noticed that playing the wtts that are available both 2009, 2012 and 2015 that when I have a backlog of trains to get to Waterloo, I try to get some trains to run through the line of Windsor Reversible Line from Up Windsor line passing the grey platform of Queenstown, I get phone calls from trains saying "incorrect route" no matter whether it is ARS or not.

Is the Windsor Reversible line electric or for diesel trains?

In the end, I have to let the trains run onto the Up Windsor Fast thus building up delays results.

I haven't got a save for it as I got annoyed about it even though I tried to create a custom timetable so as to see what trains can go up the reversible line but no, they can't But trains can go the other way on down Sheepcote area.

Is this a bug? or am I missing something that I should know.

But, I have attached a Custom Wtt with just one train in it as a sample of the route made in the train locations list.

Sorry, pals..

If those trains are booked to actually call at Queenstown Road (Battersea) then indeed it is correct behaviour to call wrong route when directed via a closed and disused platform, if however they are not booked to call at this station then that could be an issue for investigation, in light of this could I ask for clarification on the stopping patterns involved.

You have to get a red before you can get any other colour

Many thanks for replying, Driver Curran

I have found a way to get round that problem - TICK the "Thru line stop" in locations list

Or cancel the stop, it's a disused platform so anyone finding themselves on it would be in quite a bit of trouble!

The only Windsor Line trains that can run via the reversible are those with 2Cxx, 2Uxx or 1Nxx headcodes (and ECS).

For the benefit of others who may search for this thread when looking for help in future, can I just clarify -

Was DriverCurran’s suggestion correct that it’s only trains that were booked to call calling wrong route? Or are you suggesting services that weren’t booked to call are phoning wrong route as well?
