Instead of developing Moss Vale could we have Melbourne developed. This would be more challenging as there two gauges in use on some lines so you would have to be very careful as to what trains go where

I think a lot of people who bought MV (and are enjoying it from the reports) would be understandably upset if development were stopped. Never say never on Melbourne, but we're not stopping MV.

Nimbus - being from the wrong side of the planet and having spent a few days in Melbourne last month (thanks Kaiwhara & Flabberdacks for the usual warm welcome and host) All I can say is, what a great Rail scene there is there (just need to get rid of that bloody tree ).

SimSig Melbourne would be a great asset but echo Geoffs comment about Moss Vale, I feel MV brings something new to SimSig because of the large area it covers, by far the largest in Simsig, with more skillful regulation decisions that need to be made.

The Aussie devs are a great bunch of guys (Whose round is it next ?? ) with Moss Vale and Geoffs Strathfield being the first sims, rewrote the book a lot for Simsig, which can only be good for the future.

Never say never in the world of Simsig, you never know whats around the corner.

Nimbus - We announced at the Sydney meet earlier in the year that Moss Vale & Strathfield will be the 1st 2 Australian sims released. This means we will be finishing them to a full release state. At this point in time several people have put 2.5yrs of their lives into the development.

We also told those present we do have a plan for further Australian locations and we have already started gathering the necessary data (500mb for MSV)for the next sims in the plan.

We all have a list of locations we would all like to see and as Meld mentioned , never say never.

I intend to live forever. So far so good

New additions and locations are always welcome but never expected. It is an awful amount of work to get a sim to a rough standard let alone the fine exceptional work of SimSig. I would never want to see any developers work discarded or abandoned (unless it was their choice for personal reasons etc), and I think for someone to suggest a developer stops something they and their team have put years in to is very harsh.

Really looking forward to the full releases of Strathfield and Moss Vale and any others that are in the pipeline in the years to come.

Gareth
