As previewed at the London Meet in 2018, most of you will be aware that a simulation of Sandhills IECC (Merseyrail) is under development.

The original intention was to set the era as 2006 through to the 17th of June 2018.

However having done some research it would seem that the only major change from when Sandhills opened fully on the 19th of September 1994, was the closure of Hall Road TMD in 1997, it then became a Rail Track, and later Network Rail stabling point of OTM / OTP, before the connection was removed in 2006.

Now we don't have enough information to accurately simulate the depot entry / exit, but it used to exit out on to the Wall Siding at Hall Road, the driver would change ends, then come out onto the mainline.

I can simulate a compromise, and make the Wall Siding an entry and exit point in the earlier era, are people who generally write 19XX timetables happy with this? Or if you have access to WTTs is there anything else I need to know about in terms of things that have long since gone?

Karl I'd say do it as something is better than nothing. I'll have to have a look through all ny stuff & see if I haven't got something on that place. I'll get back to you on that in due course.

Just a quick update, the compromise was added into the simulation last night, for now it's just a simple tick box during the startup process.

I've been digging through various bits and pieces and I think that's all that's needed in the simulation, a lot of the other changes where on the docks, but that's after the end of the BR metals anyway.

Would the information in this diagram be of any help, assuming you've not already seen it?

I found that, it was a good piece of the puzzle, but doesn't have the track circuit data on.
